Log forming

The MultiLog log former is designed for highly industrialised processes in a wide range of formats and printed matter. The MultiLog processes up to 120,000 copies/h with signatures of between 16 and 144 pages, and paper weights from 45 to 80 g/m². Loading is performed using a UTR or STR transporter or by conveyor belts.

The loose log structure prevents loop formation, in particular in signatures open on 3 sides (rotogravure printing) and allows thin commercial print items to be processed in web offset printing.

The strapped logs are placed on a pallet using either manual handling equipment or by means of a robot.
